Build and Design

This new upcoming Smartphone stands unique when it comes to building and design. When it compared to other Smartphones on the same price, Oppo’s Realme1 stands alone at the peak with its diamond cut back design which is available only at expensive flagship Smartphones. The diamond cut back is placed on an acrylic plastic body with a supreme glass finish. Other than Realme branding logo in the centre and Oppo branding at the bottom, the back also has the 13MP camera along with a LED flash on the top right corner.

The overall dimension of the phone is exact dimension of the OppoF7 (156*75.3*7.8mm). The solid build body is the super light weight of just 158g. The button placement is also familiar with the power button on the right along with a hybrid SIM slot. The volume rocker keys are placed on the left along with the 3.5mm jack on the top and speaker grille and micro USB port placed at the bottom.

Realme 1 Design

While speaking about the display, the build has a default option to adjust the colour temperature for both screen, and font size, other than this the phone offers a list of apps on the Smartphone that are not optimized for full-screen display. Realme1 also has additional settings to turn on night shield option that turns off the blurred light from the display screen to prevent eye stress and strain.

Camera

The camera set up was on the best feature in this device, instead of having two rear cameras on the back. Realme1 has a single 13MP camera that makes the work done of two cameras and on the front, it has 8MP selfie camera. Similar to the Oppo’s flagship devices this handset too comes bundled with AI Beauty technology 2.0 for beautification. The camera is packed with usual camera modes much as standard modes, depth of field, i.e. Bokeh effect and a super vivid mode to capture images with vivid colours like (HDR).

Other than this user get AI sticker mode that gives fun stickers like Snapchat and Instagram. Users can also edit the pictures from the camera app for filters, beauty doodle, contracts and brightness adjustments. Using this camera app, it is quite simple to use, and the user will find pretty much all camera options within the app. While talking about the front facing 8MP selfie camera, this works pretty well for a selfie with AI beauty and AD sticker. The front camera gives brilliant images by presenting clean skin tone as possible with its technology.

The overall image quality of this mobile is good but not the great, the device may have performed much well then what it does. The pictures were clicked perfectly in extreme daylight condition, but it fails to give the exact same quality and details on indoor and drops out on low light and night condition.

Memory & Storage

Realme1 gives two storage option 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. The phone memory can be extended up to 256GB using a micro SD card. The 3 and 6GB RAM processor powers smoother multitasking plus storing a lot more data than imaginable and it works without any lag or slows down the device.

Performance

When it comes to performance Realme1 comes with the chipset that powers the device, Oppo had to pick the same flagship used on Oppo F7 smart phone, an Octo core chipset fabricate on a 12nm process. These are designed to support artificial intelligence features, this processor is said to be Mediatek’s best mid-range chipset device ever. The chipset is claimed to be seen in the 800 series chipset. While both chipsets are powerful and popular that makes users won’t differentiate the performance.

The operating system runs on Oppo’s colour OS 5.0, and it is based on Oreo 8, the device offers heavy customizing including home screen and lock screen magazines, rearrangement of navigation keys. Users can put the phone in the silent mode for a set of time using “Quite time” feature. It offers smart convenience features bundles with gesture and motion support such as three finger swipe screenshot and an assistive ball for notification centre. Other than this it also has clone apps where it generates another copy of the same app your device (dual app feature), in which both apps perform without disturbing each other.

The realme1 device comes with default virus scan and app clear reminder for removing unwanted app and caches. The facial recognition works great without any drawback it may perform slowly on low light places.

The device handles multitasking better with its performance, it gives a lag free use, and the device doesn’t heat up while performing high-end graphics games.  With its 3050mAh you can play with this mobile for all day long. It doesn’t take much time to charge up.
